Nazilli Belediyespor (Turkey)

Nazilli BS are a club from the fig-growing town of Aydın, about 30 miles south east of Izmir. They currently play in the TFF 3. Liga, which is the fourth tier in the Turkish game, and sees 50 divvied up into a number of smaller regional leagues. Indeed, so important is the fig to the local economy, that the fruit (it is a fruit, isn't it?) appears on the club crest, alongside a factory and an old bloke with a gun.

The club were formed in 1967, despite what it says on some versions of their badge. The date of 1881 that you'll sometimes find there rather confusingly refers to the foundation of the Municipality of Nazilli, of which Aydın is a part. After the club fell from the third division in 1975, it was swiftly closed down - only to be reopened in 1984, changing their colours from the original blue and yellow to the far more agreeable kit that you can see them playing in today.

They play in the 8000 capacity Nazilli Sehir Stadium, and as well as football, they have offshoot teams in handball, volleyball, table tennis, basketball, chess, wrestling, beach volleyball and tennis.
